mesa color stripe question

can anyone inform me to the differences regarding the blue, green and red stripe versions of older mesa amps?

Did you deaf-en the neighbors with that monster head yet?

no mark or black dot/stripe= first made
purple= cleaner clean, less gain lead
red= heavey lead, cleanish R2
blue=heavey R2
green= pentode, mark IV-ish

Whatcha got?
I have a Mark III head loaded,2 thiele/EV cabs, all imbuya/cane.
Contemplating sellin this rig...
Just bought '68 Super Reverb... Me LIKES!
