Amps out of phase
I was messing around in the studio this morning and had both my Maz Jr. 18 2x10 and Carr Rambler 1x12 mic'ed up. I was messing around with the Mic pres when I flipped the phase reversal switch on one channel just for kicks, the sound opened up and came to life all of a sudden - so I'm assuming that the speakers are out of phase. Since I'm planning on using both amps together live - can someone please let me know how to rectify the problem? Is it as simple as reversing the leads to the speaker in the Carr? Also - if there are other issues which might cause this.....both amps were close mic'd, SM57 on the Carr and Sennheiser 609 on the Max Jr.
Thanks
