Running an Extension Cab with a Blue or Pro Junior
There is no extension speaker connection on either amp. Is it possible to use some sort of y cable and run both an 8 ohm cab and the internal speaker or will this damage the amp?
Does anyone know if this appreciably increases the volume? I have a pretty large gig on Friday and am looking to beef up my sound if possible. |

I played thru a 4x10 bass cab actually, didn't have my 4x10 guitar cab with me at the time. I didn't notice that much of a volume increse altho I did notice better bottom end and breakup almost seemed tighter. I don't have my Pro Jr. anymore though. I did like the sound alot better then just thru the combo speaker. I'd say a 2x12 would open it up alot. I know there's more then a few on here that play champs thru a 2x12 in band settings and seem to get good volume if that's what you're looking for.
