Nels Cline is one of those guys that I appreciate -- even when he's not playing something I like -- for taking chances and trying new things. Kudos for "Amp du Jour"! 8)

That putting aside the Savage, his favorite amp was a Pro Junior...

yeah. i've seen this before. Nels is just such a unique player. has his own magic going for him. Love his playing from the indie rock stuff with the likes of Mike Watt to his Jazz trios to even his amazing recreation of Coltranes Interstellar Space.
