I played a rambler over the weekend... it was awesome, complex, pretty much whatever I dialed up it sounded really, really great... It would be an amazing amp to own... and you can find them used on CL.... the one I looked at was 1480 (I have no idea how they arrived at the price.. it was a private party)
go for it!

Got a Rambler
I've had a Rambler since late 2004--got it new. Used it in mostly small-medium venues along with a Vox AC-15. Quite a stereo combo!
Sounds great with all these tone monsters: 64 Tele, Cray Strat, RIC 660 12-string and JJones Neptune baritone!! Pricey--but worth it to me! |

+1 for the Rambler
I've got a Rambler and a Dr. Z Maz Jr. 18 2x10; got rid of my Vibroking as a result - have most of the tones I'll ever need between these two and the Rambler sounds AMAZING in the studio. I'm less impressed with it live as it's pretty beamy - but that just my 2 cents.
