Canadian custom amp builders?
Hey guys. The threads about the lil' Dawg amps got me thinking. Do you guys know of any good smaller Canadian amp builders? After using point-to-point wired Traynors from the 60's and 70's I am hooked. I'd like a smaller amp and I have thought about a Lil' Dawg amps, but I am pretty sure I would get nailed for duty and taxes (on top of exchange and shipping) on it which kinda takes the edge off the great prices.

If I may be so bold as to plug myself ...
I build and I'm located in southeastern BC. What sort of amp are you looking for? Darren Burt - Avalanche Amplification www.avalancheamps.com |

I like these guys
Tweed Deluxe, Matchless Lightning and 18W Marshall style amps. Great workmanship, good prices.
I believe they are in your neck of the woods. http://www.trinityamps.com

www.avalancheamps.com posted above has some really nice looking amps.
Unfortunatly none of the Canadian builders have what I was looking for at this time. A couple plan to soon. |
