Dumb BFTR question

Hey all,

Can I safely pull two power tubes in my blackface Twin Reverb and play it at half power to get a little more breakup? If so, which two (outer pair or inner pair)?

Also, do I have to worry about my speaker impedance? I'm running two 8ohm V30's in parallel at the moment.

Thanks for the education.

...Stormin!

Pull 2

If you pull 2 tubes you could disconnect one speaker to re-match the impedance. Pull 2 inners to spread out the heat. A re-bias may be called for too.
