SF Bassman

I just bought this one today, a silverface drip-edge Bassman. The cab is a 2x12, the size the Fender Amp Field Guide identifies as 40" x 29.5" x 11.5". The tolex is ragged on the side with the wheels, the corner protectors are rusty. The top speaker hole had been enlarged for a 15" and then an unlabeled 12" reinstalled with an extra mounting board, but the bottom 12" may be the original. A grounded power cord had been installed. It works but has some hum, I'll have to pay a visit to my local amp tech.

Very cool. There are a few very easy mods in the power amp section that make these sound even better. If your tech doesn't know them run like heck. A couple of Weber California speakers would be oh so tasty.
