I have an XR600E and it does have two amps in it. You can drive the monitors with one of the two amps with a jumper out of the monitor output anf into the second power amp input.

I had one - wish I had kept it. I had the matching PV 80's 12" speaker - real ply cabs, looked like EV clones with the 2-way titanium drivers.
Solid head - very decent spring reverb for SS, handy number of inputs unless you need to mic the band. Maybe keep it to drive your monitors and do your mic eqs. Get a power amp/s for FOH and subs.

Still have mine..
I got one as part of a deal for a '68 Princeton Reverb a couple years ago.
Didn't work, had a bunch of knobs snapped off, and the innards looked like the unit had at one time been submerged in water. Ordered a buncha replacement pots (Peavey parts dept. was very helpful), connected an internal connector that had come loose, cleaned it up, and the darned thing works perfectly! It works fine for the couple low key gigs I do in a year. I run it w/ some JBL Caberet speakers. |

Be careful...
I had an XR600B years ago, and it would run it's one amp to 2 ohm minimum loads, but the newer Peavey heads have two amps that only run to 4 ohms minimum.
I have a XR600F now that works fine, but I didn't realize the change until after I'd bought it.
