Jazz and fusion guys: Yamaha G50 112II?

I've had 2 of the Yamaha amps

Not sure if it's the same model you're talking about , but I think one of them I had was.
Both the amps I owned were 50 watt combo amps with 1-12" speaker.
One was more of a basic amp , the other one had a parametric EQ and more options for the OD channel.
They both sounded very good IMO. Great clean tones, and very warm for a SS amp. Good reverb too.
I imagine it would be a good amp for jazz , seems like Mike Stern used them and he's a jazz / fusion kinda guy.

Great series of amps IMO.

I found a used G100 112 at Music-Go-Round a couple months ago and snapped it up. Fantastic clean tone for jazz stuff, and as mentioned, the parametric EQ is cool. The OD channel isn't high-gain by any stretch, but manages to sound pretty natural.

Mike Stern has a 212 version of the G100 for one half of his stereo rig.
