Ditto on Teagle & Sprung's book
I find myself constantly thumbing through this book--it's not a tech book but the best historic sourcebook that I know of. I wouldn't buy an old Fender amp without reading the respective chapter in this book. Also, you have to love that "family portrait"!! Buy it, you'll like it!!

For tech stuff...
There's Gerald Weber's two books, "Tube Amp Talk for Guitarist and Tech", & "Desktop reference of Hip Vintage Guitar Amps" that deal alot with Fenders. There's also Dave Funk’s "Tube Amp Workbook", agian with alot on Fender.
