The one in the local music store died. One of the rental amps at the local sound company has some issues. The speakers may be wired out of phase. The other two they have seem to be fine. I have mixed feelings about them based on my experiences. I don't think they're as reliable as the amp they're based on. They do sound good when they're working right.
I bought a late '60's Dual Showman Reverb (Twin chassis in a head cabinet) for around $500 and use it with a 2 X 12" JBL loaded cab that I already had. It's a thing of beauty. |

Popular backline amp
EVerytime we do a show where the backline is supplied it seems there is always a Twin RI there for me to use.
I don't own one but my experience with them in this capacity has been very good.. I've never had one go down, or produce strange tone. |
