Epiphone Electar 10 opinions??
Tube amp- Anybody have one?
Saw a used one on sale cheap. Waddya think? Can't play it but for 100 bucks thought I might give it a try. Need a living room practice amp with good tele tone for under 150.00 Thanks! |

$100 is high for a used one; that was the new price a while ago from a couple of on-line dealers. $75-$80 would be all I'd offer for a used one. I've heard that if you replace the speaker and use better tubes, you can get a very good sound out of the amp. The only one I've ever played was stock and it was just "ok".

This is the Epiphone Galaxie 10 not just the regular Electar. I dont know if that makes a difference to anyone. It gets a very high rating on Harmony and suggested retail is almost $400 discounted to $200
