help!

I am having a VERY difficult time trying to find owner's manual/schematics for my Bedrock.
E mailled the owner and he has nothing.
Nothing on the web.
If you know of any other resources I would be grateful.
I would like to get the cap values and original tube types.
ie: was the reverb tube a 12ax/t7, etc.
(the model is a BC 50 which has the same guts as a 1200 I believe- 2 EL 34s and 5 12 a*7)
Thanks for checking out my post
RC

Considering Bedrock is out of business you may have a tough time. Hopefully somebody around here owns one...

For the cap values, why not just look at the ones that are in the amp? They ought to be labelled.

As far as power tubes go, my first guess is that it came with Sovtek 5881's just like virtually every other bargain tube amp made in the 90's did. I would be surprised if it used anything else. For preamp tubes, I almost guarantee it came with 12ax7's since once again that was the cheapest route to go.

Many amps also use EL34s, as in the case of Bedrock. I would not consider these buget amps, at least not in the category with Crate, Peavey, low-end Fender and low-end Marshall.

Tim,
Your post got me thinking; I'm probably confusing Bedrock with the Sovtek amps (wasn't one of them called a MIG100?).

I also thought of someone who might be able to help: Doug Hoffman. As I recall, he bought up all the surplus Bedrock chassis that were left over after they went out of business. He might be familiar enough with the amps to at least point you in the right direction RC.
