Trace Elliot Tramp?

There are a couple of models from what I know. Last night I played a used solid state model. 55 watts I think. 2 channels, reverb, Celestion speaker. Priced at $199. Had some wear, but I think it shows a little charecter. Thought it sounded great for a ss amp. Very similar to a Blues Cube, but a little more 2 dimensional, if that makes any sense. Seriously thinking about it. the only concern I would have is reliability. I know after Gibson bought Trace they went to crap (as does EVERY line that Gibson has ever acquired..whats the deal w/ that?). From the graphics and nameplate it appeared to be an older model.

Anybody own one of these or know anything about them?
