Question for Trademark 60 users
Anyone gigging with one? Do you find yourself using the boost alot to be heard in the mix? Or not?
Just curious...I just got one, and it's pretty loud for a 60 s.s. amp. Obviously, you can patch it into the p.a. too... |

The boost is a nice touch, but I actually play more with my knob on the guitar, and if I want a bit of boost, I usually also want a slightly different sound, so I use an OD pedal.
It is a useful thing, not the killer app on the amp, but just another pleasant feature to an outstanding amp. As a gig amp, they are a fantastic deal. Your wallet, ears and back will thank you. |

I used to have a TM60 and did gig with it a few times. Replace the stock speaker with a Vintage 30 and you will be blown away by how much better it sounds. And, you won't need the boost to cut through the mix.

re question for trademark 60 users
after a bit of research, i upgraded my tm60 using a hellatone 60 (based on a celestion vintage 30?) from dave @ avatar speakers. wow, what a difference. the amp was good before but now absolutely cranks! much cleaner all around and volume came alive. a valid suggestion for upgrade indeed!
great information, thanks guys, ducatiman |
