Tweed on a 70's Twin

Just saw this Twin on ebay and love the tweed covering on it, I've never seen one like that before. Is this an aftermarket thing or did Fender produce one ?

I like it, too, although it's a bit disconcerting at first, kinda like seeing a friend right after they've just dyed their hair. Good thing it's not a 4x10, it might be a "Dis-Concert" amp, huh? (Sorry, couldn't help myself... ) And AFAIK, it's an aftermarket customization; I don't believe Fender ever sold a tweed silverface Twin Reverb. ;-) – CS

My SF twin looks pretty much identical to that, tweed tolex w/ brown grillcloth(it was like that when I bought it).
Once you really start to examine it, you can tell it's not a factory job, but the look of it has sorta grown on me.

Don't let Gary Busey see that, he'll want to use it in the sequel to "The Buddy Holly Story".
