Tell me about VHT Standard 12 and Special 12/20RT
Anyone have any new experiences with these amps?
I am curious to know about the the regular stuff...
How reminiscent of a 5e3 and BF are these? Touch Sensitivity? Thanks in advance all..

So ...
Neither of these amps have much play on the internet. I just ordered a Standard 12. This is rumored to be a 5e3 clone. Perhaps when I receive it next week, I can shed some light on this, USA built, handwired, tag board amp. QUESTION.... How might I best evaluate this as a 5e3 since I have never played a 5e3? Thanks in advance

Congrats
http://www.tdpri.com/forum/amp-centr...al-12-20h.html My experience so far. Wouldnt say 5e3 but, the standard may be different. The standard and specials ARE apparently rather different (USA vs China) Controls and features. Would be interested to hear both side by side

I tried the 12/20 RT today and it is really impressive. Great reverb and trem. The tone and drive of the amp is very tweakable. Boost is useful, not over the top. Even has a built in 9V power supply.
