Vox Amplug
I have just found out about these things- are they any good?
I often play unplugged on the sofa, while the TV is on,but would love to be able to play without disturbing the rest of the family.I have a Mustang 2 set up in the bedroom, but don't like to have to lock myself away. I had thought the AC30 one would be good-can you get clean and dirty tones though? Thanks in advance. |

Yes, just check some samples on youtube. It has a fantastic sound. I would have gotten one myself if it wasn't an earphone-only device.
I've been told that the sound with the tiny cab accessory is awful, though. |

I have the Classic Rock (Marshall) version and love it. I take it and a Tele on business trips to practice in hotel rooms. Through headphones, it really caputures the thump of a Marshall quad cab in a room. It reminds me a lot of the first Aersosmith album.
Take your guitar and your 'phones to GC and try them all, see which model you like.
