Please recommend a speaker for me

I got a Laney AOR 50 Series II 112 all- valve combo circa 1991. Its basically a JCM800 clone with a Laney attittude and touch. Closed back.Stock speaker (HH) is not allowing its true potential to show up. I know 'cause I plugged it to 2X12 Marshall cab and it was great. It acccepts 4,8 and 16 ohm speakers btw.

So I'm looking for a replacement speaker recommendation. Some pointers on what I want (can't say I'm very sure of this):

a. Balanced (treble, middle bass), not too much accentuation as I use different guitars through it

b. I want to make it as Marshall-like as possible

c. am a classic rock blues player if that helps

PLease help me out and do request for more info if needed. THanks.

I've been on a speaker search lately for a modded Carvin Vintage 33, which is probably similar in style to yours. I'm looking to keep that Marshall quality tone. Next one I'm trying... I just picked up a Celestion Classic Lead 80 as my next choice. I think it's a cross between a G12-30H and a V30. There's a guy on the gear page selling the other one of the pair I bought. $60 with shipping and all broken in. Can't beat that! My other choice if this doesn't work might be a Weber Blue Dog ceramic 50w. I have an old G12-70M in there now and it's sort of sterile sounding, but better than most that I've tried.
