Need date, and value, on my Blonde DRRI

It's a blond tolex DRRI. BLD-0117 on back panel. The production line is blank on the tube chart. This amp was given by Fender,to an endorser. I'm lookin' to trade it to someone, but really need the build date. It's drop dead mint, and, yes,,, never been gigged.

I also have a blonde DRRI. Mine is a '94. They only made 500 of them, hence you BLD-011 serial. However, I wanna say that fender put out another run of these blonde DRRIs almost a decade later. If yours has the dummy grounding switch, it's the 94' because that feature didn't last long on DRRIs. Hope that helps!

Thanks! That does help. Mine has the Ground switch. I thought someone told me '91, but not sure,,,, old brain, and that was at least 10 years ago. Now I need to figure out what it's worth! It currently has a '61 C12N in it, and all super OS tubes. And it is truly mint. Got it in trade from my buddy Neil Zaza, and he NEVER even plugged it in, and I only played it a couple of times.

Pics. Don't know why my flash bleached it out so much! It's the bumpy, cream, blonde Tolex.

i have no clue of the value. being they only made so many mint condition probably puts it above some others. but, that really means nothing in the market if their is no demand. however, i just wanted to post you have some nice stuff. drools :)

Thanks jipp! Been collecting a long time. It's time to thin the herd, and the new stuff goes first. I have a friend who is building a reissue of the 1963 Shobud Fingertip pedal steels. I have a double neck original, but don't play C6th, and I want a single neck. Trying to find stuff to trade him. My original plus something???????

Nice! Different grill cloth! Does yours have a BLD serial number too?

It does! BLD-0127.

I threw in an Eminence RW&B and and a re-tube set of JJs from the good folks at Eurotubes. It's all I'll ever need in an amp (along with my first tube amp, a Champ 600, I'm keeping that one around because I've put so much love into her!)

I think value would be in the $600-900 range. The high end would need someone that values that speaker, tubes, and limited edition styling. The low end seems to be a fairly common lowish market price for used drri's in mint condition.
