rattling sound
Just got a Fender Hot Rod Deville 212. Sounds beautiful (esp clean) but on bassy, sustained notes, I head what sounds like a high pitched rattling...like a screw loose or something. I have no idea. Also, I recorded a bit with cool edit pro (i just ran a cable from "pre-amp out" into my sound card) and the sound came through on the recording. Does that mean it's something inherent in the speaker or sound production. It really just sounds like something is rattling to me. Please help me out if you think you know what this is.
It's not terribly annoying, just something I'd like to get rid of. Thank you. |

Try tapping lightly on each of your tubes with a pencil eraser. One of them probably is rattling...
Cheers, Tim
