NAD! Vox AC15C1 Red tolex....

Love it. Got it in a trade, guy gave me amp and cash for my DRRI. I also have a PRRI a USA HRD and an original series Super Sonic, so I got Fender covered. Well now I have some VOX too!

Love that tone. Worried it might not be loud enough for stage, but it's great for around the house.

Here's a pic.

Congrats! I have the same amp. Did you get the certificate of authenticity? I think there were only 1000 made or something like that.

The AC15C1 is really a nice amp with some very nice features. It won't be clean at high volumes but it does distort loudly. If you need clean at high volumes you can always use the Super Sonic Vintage channel on Vibrolux.

Groovy..!
I always liked the ACs in alternate colors, I remember the purple AC-30s that Marshall made for Korg as being very cool.

Cool amp, AC15's look as good in red as they do in blue (or black for that matter!).

No COA but if the serial is to be trusted, its 700/1000. If they only put it out for a year, and it's an oddball color like red, is a COA important?

Haven't done it yet, but I wanna set up an A/B with my PRRI!

I doubt the COA is "important" it is just cool to have.

The AC15C1 and the PRRI would be an interesting stereo mix too!

Played like 7 guitars through it the other night--everything I threw at it sounded good with minimal knob fiddling. Hollowbody, single coils, humbuckers, you name it.

Very cool. I definitely like the red.

I like that every other year or so VOX is doing this with alternate colors. We've had red and recently blue. Hope they do bring back the purple. I may buy an AC15 in that.

I had heard a story that Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean Deleo bought up everyone of those he could find. They had an album called "Purple" so when they went out on tour he had like three purple AC30s behind him.

AC15C1 is a great sounding amp. All the chime and grime you need!

I have a HRDx and wondering how does the Vox compare? Also would it be similar to a Marshall Class5 and Blues Junior which also have EL84 tubes? Thanks.

I really think Amps should stop being just black. We need more color on stage.

Very nice! mine's just boring black.

If you get something like an Art Cool Switch you can run normal and top boost together which sounds pretty cool too.

Congrats!

I've never played an AC15 but have always liked the sound of them - that red one looks awesome!
