New Amp Day - Magic Vibro Prince!
![]() magic vibro prince by Zounds Perspex, on Flickr I know there are plenty of Princeton Reverb lovers here at TDPRI - if you're looking for a KILLER boutique version of a BFPR, I heartily recommend you check this guy out. What a beautiful sounding amp! I've tried several Princetons (including some nice 60's models) and various clones, but this one takes the cake! Just crank it up and rip! Unlike most blackfaces I've tried, I really don't need a drive pedal for the Vibro Prince at all - sounds just so great turned up to about 8, and of course since it's a 12-watt 1x10" it's not too loud pretty much ever for me. Beautiful fat single note lines, perfect natural compression, reverb and trem are VERY nice...killer, killer stuff. It's built like a tank, too. Dig it! |

thanks, fellas! I'm diggin' this guy so much that I'm seriously considering buying another one to run in stereo.
Jazzmaster or Tele => Tube Tape Echo => 2 Killer Princetons? It sounds almost too amazing to deny. |
