Fender Excelsior Back Shots
It is interesting in the Fender Excelsior how they separated the preamp and power amp sections. This must be a late prototype as it is marked "NAMM1" and has a 230V 50 Hz power transformer. Note the metal shielding used over the wiring from the preamp to power section on one of the two units.

Can anyone confirm when Fender will start shipping the new Greta and Excelsior amps? I had heard that at NAMM Fender people said that in April they would start moving product into distribution chain.

The Greta seems to be getting much more attention because of its cute looks. I wasn't much interested in the Excelsior until I got a look at the interior. I am interested to see view of circuit or schematic when available.
