Not sure you have a Paragon there.
The Paragon was their bass amp, offered as a Paragon (head, 1x15 ported cab) and Paragon Special (combo, 1x15 ported cab). They do not have reverb or tremelo.
That said, I use a Paragon Special quite often, it is a monsterously toneful amp, one of my favorites in the whole world. About 30 watts with 5881s or 6L6s. P

I have two Alamo Paragon bass/man amps from the early 1960's........... they are about the size of a '59 Fender Bassman except they have one Jensen 15" speaker and are closed back combos.... all tube 12AX7's preamp with two 5881 Tung Sol power tubes and a tube rectifier.....
Handwired vintage amps..... kinda like a Matchless in tone.... I play a lot of Blues Rock stuff on mine.... BUT they are really junk so if you can give me the number to get ahold of the one you are thinkin' about, I'll save ya the trouble of dealing with the guy.... |
