Vox Lil Night Train - 275 worth it?

There's a posting on CL for a Lil Night Train Head and the 1x10 cab for 275. Just wondering if it's worth it? I see that new the whole shebang would go for 380. Have not ever looked at this tiny head, but if it does a good basic Vox sound it might be worth having around to complement my TRRI.

Thoughts?

I owned the lil night train and it's a loud lil bugger. Don't let the wattage and the word "lil" fool ya. As far as price, what is the condition and is it worth it to you for another 100 dollars to have a warranty. Nice little amp that has small footprint and huge tone, not much clean headroom but enough for what I needed. I ended up bringing it back which is another thing you can't do if you buy off c.l,, you can try and sell and hope you get your money back but it's a slow, slow market right now i think, I see the same ***** everyday on there.

sorry for sidetrack, but yeah cool amp,if it's mint remember that some of the big box stores have 15percent off right now and you could get that amp for just a lil more with warranty

There's another guy in the area with the head/cab for 250 and it looks like they're in great condition. This amp hasn't even been on my radar at all - it's more like I saw it was on there and thought that was pretty cheap for that Vox sound. Looking for something with a good natural sounding OD, since I have all the clean headroom I need on my TRRI. In any case, I'm sure I'd be able to pick one up for a good price in the future if I really wanted one.

Go to the amp owners page and you'll see a lengthy thread singing the praises of this little beast. I have one and think it's quite possibly the best lower volume tuber I have owned. I think that price is a little high, however, because the cabinet doesn't get very good reviews. I would just look for the head itself and match it with a good cabinet.
