KT66 - Get Them While They're Hot!

What do you mean you can't afford NOS tubes for your favorite amp?

Check this auction out.

I can heat My House for The Winter with what this individual wants. I'll stick to the repros - they're fine.
Ya really think some DORK out there is that crazy to
pull the trigger ???

1400 bones? The guy is smoking crack. You'll notice there are no bids as of yet. Probably won't be at that price. You can buy a helluva lot of Valve Art or GT KT66s for that price. And the modern ones do sound pretty good.

They'll go to someone in the Far East who is into Quad II hifi amps.

Interesting. I have a NOS pair of Gold Lion KT88's in identical packaging. My tubes also have the "test report" printouts of factory tube testing. The tube bags look original and unopened.

Would that make the subject tubes worth $1,400? I dunno.

He also has an auction going on for a quad of KT88 tubes.
So far it has three bids and is at $1858.
Winner also get a chance to buy another quad set for same winning bid price.
