What year did they start putting push pull pots on deluxe reverbs?

If you go to Bridge Pickup links and then the Fender Amp Field Guide and navigate to the SFDR page you will see:

Answer: Around 1977

but it's no big deal, just don't pull the knob out for boost, the 70's SF DR's are great amps!
