BASSMAN BACK IN THE HOUSE!
OK- I promise this will be the last thread about my 59 Bassman RD (Re-Do). In my opinion George Alessandro did an excellent job both on the board and tonally! The amp rocks! Huge sound, very throaty and full- breaks up nicely starting around 4-5 on the dial (loud, though). Seems to like the Keeley modded Bluesdriver just fine; I have a stock older DS-1 that I haven't tried yet.
Rehearsed with the new band on Wednesday night and used it; the guys liked it alot. Our bass player is an "old amp" hound and he says it sounds great- he was really giving it the once over on one of our breaks. Could someone suggest where to host some pictures so's I could post a few? Thanks in advance. I'm a (finally) happy guy. Brian
