Hmmm...Which fuse?
Hey all,
I'm fixing up a 1958 Supro amp which is missing the fuse. It's a basic 1x12, 2 6V6 with the 5Y3 rec. The fuse holder doesn't have any info on or around it. Any idea what would work well in there? Thanks, Rich |

If you want to be certain, put an ammeter in series with primary of the power transformer. What I do is just clip on my ammeter across the fuse holder for convenience. Make sure you note the 'surge' current right at the beginning. Then, either bump up the surge current to the next 'standard' fuse size, or use the surge value but get a SloBlo fuse.
