Tone Tubby now on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=120767164236 i prefered the speaker that came with my Carr amp i recently got, so the TT is for sale, this is a sweet one in a deluxe reverb.

Perhaps consider listing it first in the tdpri marketplace instead of ebay next time. In most user/enthusiast forums, and I'm sure tdpri is no exception, it's considered poor form to lead off with an announcement of an ebay auction, if the forum you're announcing from has a direct marketplace section, as well.

Better to use ebay second, if necessary.

Perhaps you should have looked in the classifieds here, it was listed for a while with no takers, and perhaps you should read the forum rules here, it is OK to list ebay items ! copied from forum rules > EBAY NOTICES:
You are permitted to post ONE "tasteful" notice about an Ebay auction for something you are selling (no-dealers just personal items). By "tasteful" I mean just a simple link to your auction and a sentence or two about it will be fine. And don't try to "bump" your notice to the top of the page after it starts to move down the list of topics. (NOTE: Commercial Dealers are NOT permitted to list their Ebay Auctions at all.)

A couple years ago I did a tune up on a '70s DR. The guy also brought along a Tone Tubby hemp cone speaker that he won on ebay, and wanted me to put in for him. That speaker in that amp, with a Tele, sounded like the voice of angels - I didn't want to give the amp back!

Yup, in a old deluxe reverb there heaven ! But, i was suprised on the Carr slant 6V i recently traded for, i actualy prefered the origanal Kingpin 60 ceramic that was in it, and i usaly never like a ceramic much.

Jimmy Herring uses them in his Super Reverb and the Hard Truckers cabinets he connects to his Fuchs amp, and the sound is money.
