New Allen Kits

Looks like Dave Allen just updated his site with some new kits -- A 6G3 Brown deluxe model -- the Hot Fudge -- AND he is selling his Encore model now in kit format. Both have brown-era tube tremolo. I swear he must want to bankrupt me. I just finished building a Brown Sugar kit about 3 months ago and while I need another amp like a hole in the head, already my resolve is slipping...so which one do I build first?

Look at your own peril:

Re: Allen Kits

Scott, I feel your pain.

After putting together an Old Flame a couple of years ago, I knew I would buy another amp kit from him. I've been trying to decide if it will be an Accomplice, a Brown Sugar, or the Encore. Now these Hot Fudge models look pretty interesting as well.

To add fuel to the fire, I read something on another board that indicated that he has a couple more new models coming out soon.

Cripes. I want them all.

Looks more like a Princeton clone to me.

Yes the "Hot Fudge" is the 6G2. The "Hot Fudge w/Nuts" is the 6G3.

It's still a single channel though, isn't it? The picture looks like a Princeton on steroids.
