Need speaker recommendation for Valvetrain 205TB . . .
I've got a Valvetrain 205 tallboy amp with an Eminence Legend 12" speaker, which I believe to be the Legend 1258. It's got a great tone, but it is heavy on the mids and high end, and I am looking for something with a bit more lows.
The speaker hasnt been fully broken in yet, so I am wondering whether it might improve over time. But even so, I am considering replacing it, maybe with a Wizard (the 205TB now comes with a Wizard, but mine is an earlier model, left over from a music store liquidation). What speaker would you all suggest for a fatter, richer sound? |

If you want fender spank and sparkle..new or old C12N or Weber 12f150
Other categories (rock/dirty blues)..maybe alnico gold, or other (wgs, tonetubbies, emi's,etc) I love alnicos..but, for my music it is good.. All depends what you are going after... Nice amp..by the by
