Victoria 45410 tweed bassman placed on ebay

Been thinking about the Victoria 45410 tweed amp and I just was not playing that amp very much of late so I placed it on Ebay thinking why not use the extra cash for something else that I would get some use out of .

Had it on there for about two hours and got many people who were interested asking questions and I thought for $1150.00 it would not last long thats a real fair price for that amp which is totaly mint and original other than n.o. s. tubes .

Decided to go into my guitar amp studio and started playing my various tweeds amplifiers . Well did not take me long after playing the 45410 for 5 minutes I started having serious thoughts was I making a mistake selling this amp oh what to do now ?

Went to my computer and while getting my password into Ebay thought
oh boy its most likely gone . Had a few more questions about the amp and I was lucky it was still there and I quickly canceled the sale and that would have been one of those wish I wouldn't have deals , close call and a lesson learned .

This morning went to Ebay and had three messages wondering where the amp went and they were all ready to buy it so I retured and told them the truth I had a change of heart .

Good man! The Vic 45410 is the kind of amp you will always go back to at some point. I personally don't sell guitars or amps anymore to raise cash for new equipment. I almost always end up regretting it. I think the universe sent you a message loud and clear.

On a more philosophical note (ha ha, no pun intended), Pete Townshend wrote a line that I think puts it best: "Never spend your guitar or your pen."

That's a good quote I can appreciate it and wont forget that one .

That was a close call that's for sure just played using that amp a few minutes ago and I'm glad I came to senses which was just in time cause it would have sold by this point in time .

I've had that experience a few times. Fortunately, I've halted the auction before any permanent damage could be done. That, or I sold with no regrets. Glad to hear you got to the keyboard before anyone could seal the deal. That woulda stunk.

Been there. I damned near sold my 70 SG (one owner - me) in a fit of insanity. Smart move G6120. I'll tell ya something else I did wrong (which you didn't). I love tons of various small, low watt, tube amps of all persuasions BUT, you've got to have one reasonably powerful, authoritative, amp in the inventory. And that is one heck of a nice amplifier. Good move.

Ive got a Fender tweed twin that Ive been using for some time and thought that was all I needed for a large venue of sorts but after playing the victoria I really thought this is insane and from my studio to the computer was one of the longest walks Ive had in a while well at least it felt that way and if it had sold I would have honored the sale but as it turns out I just got lucky .
