Tiny Terror Combo has an awful clean sound. Plenty of gain though if you are into that thing. Hard to beat Blackface style amps for cleans.

Not awful, but you have to use your volume pot on the guitar to achieve a decent clean sound. with that said, the overdrive is quite amazing at the tiny terror, but since you want the one with better cleans, the pro junior is a better choice...

Had both amps and they are totally different animals. Jr. has definitely more cleans, they are really thick and sparkly at the same time and if you get it to break up with your tele it's really special. The TT however is a great crunch-classic rock amp. There's no better crunch than Orange

Yeah I guess that is true.

I was talking about them with a friend of mine who owned one and asked him why they sound like they do and he said their circuit is kinda like an AC15 with power scaling and an extra gain stage so I guess if hit their front end less hard they'll clean up. Also They don't have a speaker suited to cleans. I reckon if you did roll back the volume and used an old Alnico speaker like in the old Vox's it would probably get a nice chimey clean, but I have always used them for distortion.

The PJr is the clearest, cleanest of the two; however, the clean doesn't go very far up the Volume knob - maybe 4.5 or so.

If you want Clean AND loud, you'll need to mic it or use an ext cab.

I don't have any experience with the Tiny Terror, but the Pro Jr is my favorite current Fender amp. I've had reliability issues with them, but when they're working they're really hard to beat. Tube selection and the guitars volume knob are the keys to getting more cleans out of them.
