pignose G60VR

i was needing a small amp for around the hose and jams with buddies so i could leave my 73 sf twin at our studio. my buddy at the music store got a pignose g60vr in trade and gave me a deal on it. replaced the tubes first thing and plugged it in. I got to admit , I'm very happy with the sound. only one channel but i can get a good clean tone and a decent sustain, distortion sound plus tube reverb and it will get really loud. for a home pratice and jam with buddies amp i think i got much more than i bargained for. a good speaker and this thing would probabbly sing. i don't have a clue how it will hold up though, any one own one of these and what do you think, any problems, anything i need to watch for? it's almost brand new and i paid $200 for it. my twin will do all the gig work an this one will stay at home. so far i feel good. buenos dias compardes

Someone recently posted on the old page about their experience with putting a 200w EV speaker in their pignose. They said it was a great improvement. I'd say, expirament!

The only thing I'd watch for is the fact that you didn't but a Peavey. By that I mean, you'r amp isn't bulletproof. I'm sure you noticed that by now, but it's honestly the only thing I can think of wrong with that amp.
