swampworks amps--any experiences with them?

hello, all.

i did a keyword search yesterday for "tube amps with reverb" or something close and dogpile returned an entry for swampworks amplifiers.

here is there link: http://www.swampworksamps.com/index.html

they look like an interesting outfit; i searched for a thread on tdpri and found nothing. just wondering if anybody has any firsthand experience/knowledge.

thanks much, eljayski

No experience. I looked at their site. Sharp looking. I will give them this. When they have a cathode biased amp, they don't automatically call it a 'Class A'. IN fact, they call it a cathode-biased Class AB amp. NIce! I have never seen anyone put all of the transformer weight down on one end of the chassis as they do.
They pull no punches with the model names, either, do they?
Down in the swamp for sure. Watch out for Marie LaVoe down there.

eljayski,
Mike, from Swamp Works Amplifiers here...
Just to give you a little background info. on the company, we're a relatively new company based in Madison, AL. Been in business here for about two years.
We're building completely custom boutique guitar and bass amps. These amps are custom from the ground up..circuit and all. If you've been looking for that perfect amp to fit they way you play, the music you play, your guitars, etc, we take all of that into account when we build your amp. There are no "standard" models because there are no "standard" people. Everyone is looking for something a little different and it's our goal to accomodate each customer, and help them find the perfect look and tone for them.
Anyway, please browse around the site a little more, and check out some of the pics on the media page. We're also on Facebook and Twitter if you want to find us there. Feel free to email or call (256-88-SWAMP) if you have any other questions or if there's anything we can do for you!

Thanks for the interest!

I don't think Marie ever ventured up near Huntsville where they are.

You may be right....it was probably her cousin Genevieve...much darker and more sinister.
