Any Cabinet Makers in the UK?
I am thinking of getting a Lil Dawg D-Lux but need a cabinet for it. Is the D-Lux a narrow panel?

I had a cabinet made for my Blues Junior by http://www.mongotone.co.uk/index.htm
Great workmanship. They are based in Scotland, however, Marc travels to many guitar shows so it is usually possible to see his work. When he made mine, I also arranged to pick it up at a show nearby. According to the Lil dawg site, it is a narrow panel http://www.littledawgamps.com/amps_dlux.php |

Mine was around £300 back in around 2006, however, it's solid mahogany and has 2x10 speakers installed, so it is fairly big and heavy. I would email Marc and ask him for a quote. Alternatively, if the cabinet is just for a speaker, why not get a kit from http://www.torresamps.com/.
I built a 1x12 cab to house a Celestion Gold. The empty Kit cab cost me just over £100 to build ![]() ![]() ![]()

The kit quality was excellent. As with all kits, instructions could be slightly better, however, much better than your typical Ikea stuff. I have actually bought some stuff off the US lot as well and never had issues with them |
