Hot Rod Deville Problem

I posted this in DIY amp forum to, seeing how I plan on fixing it myself lol.. any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a HD 2-12. Was playing a gig on Sat, and while playing I noticed my HD was starting to distort while strumming hard, Vol was on 2. My gut tells me a preamp tube has started going out, and when I looked at the tubes, all of them are not "Glowing" as bright as they used to....Now normally this would not be to much of a problem, just replace the old tubes, but the issue is I Just had this amp worked on in Aug. It sat in the corner not being played. I've played a total of two gigs with that amp, including Sat night. So why are the tubes going out already again.....I don't want to have to spend more cashola... but gotta have this amp for smaller gigs. So I'm going to haft to drop the cash. My amp tech has always been good and never had to fix the same problem twice, but I'm curious if its an underlying issue causing this problem.

Hold my Beer and watch this!
