Correct speaker for '64/'65 Twin Reverb

Can anyone tell me what the correct speakers are for these amps, where I should look to get a pair, and if thats not likely or is too pricey, what the next best thing is.
I'm getting ready to sell, and one of the the two (Utah I think) original speakers is blown.

A re-cone maybe?

Thanks for any advice!

If the amp has original Utahs in it now, and one is blown, just have it reconed. This keeps the amp more original, with proper date matching on the speakers. This will be cheaper than buying a new speaker. Ted can probably recone it for you at a good price.

Basically I think Utah speakers suck, but since you're selling it, that becomes someone else's concern.

Either Jensen C12N, or Oxford 12T6, according to the Fender Amp Field Guide at ampwares.com.

I'd shy away from Oxfords too.

Weber California 12s or the JBL 120 or 130 series speakers. The webers are Great!

If the speakers aren't original you also consider...

...Weber C12N's. Very well balanced speaker. Check on the power handling though, just to be safe. Weber Californias are an excellent choice too and will handle the power, no problem. 8)
