Foot Switch

Ok this may be a dumb ass question but my VC50 has a foot switch that has never been used til today. I can't tell any difference in sound when it is plugged into the jack and you switch between ch1 and 2. There is no power cord just the jack and cable. Is there a battery that is supposed to go in it like in my TS7? I ain't kiddin when I tell ya I can't tell the difference in sound. Just wondering. thanks

No, no need for a battery. Have you adjusted your settings on both channels. There is a switch on the back called "F/X Mode" make sure that is set to "BYPASS". According to the manual it uses a 5 pin connector rather than a standard TRS 1/4" plug. It may be possible that one the pins are loose or broken.

This amp doesn't have a switch, it is a big class A amp and it just has the jack plug on the top. Can't for the life of me figure out why it doesn't work apparently. Thanks though.
