Orange Tiny Terror combo + US Standard Tele

I had my first audition with a new band last night (got the gig) and it was my first opportunity to check out my TT at a good volume. It didn't disappoint and sounded ideally suited to the Tele (un-modded US Standard Ash). It breaks up early so clean headroom is limited but for a 15 watter it is plenty loud enough to be heard over an energetic drummer.
Looking at it now I see I had the volume on 1 o'clock, tone on 11 o'clock and gain on 10 o'clock. It cleaned up nicely using the guitar's volume control.

I'm really happy with this little guy and got a few comments on how good the tone was. Anyone else using this combination?

Don't normally play a tele with it, however, I use my TT for most small gigs. Just got the Dual Terror as well, so looking forward to giving that an outing

Congratulations on getting the gig, first of all. That's very cool.

What cab are you running it into?

Not sure what the first poster was using, but mine is the head version which I run through a kit cabinet housing a Celestion Gold

Yes it's the combo with a G12H30 and built like a tank, really solid. The only drawback will be valve swaps-not a difficult job but you couldn't really do it quickly, mid-gig, if one went down. You have four bolts securing the amp section to the upper rear panel and then several screws to undo to get at the amp chassis itself.
Now all I need is for Orange to make a Dual Terror combo...

atroy, thank you.

oooh, I want a Dual TT so bad! Love my single channel TT for home and recording - but the dual looks like just the thing for live.

Yep. The TT head is a bit of a pain to change valves. Took me ages and not the sort of thing you want to be doing on a gig. Also I managed to cross thread one of the screws, so had to force it out
