Quick Question Re: small tube amp inputs

I've always wanted one of the little 5 watt amps (ie Champion, etc), now I'm giving some lessons from my home and thought one of these would be a good thing to have around. I'm curious - a lot of these have two inputs (lo and hi?). Would I be able to plug two guitars into it at the same time, or can you only use one at a time? Thanks!

You can, but the high is going to be louder. They give you a high and a low so you can use the low to have more clean headroom if you have active pickups or just really hot pickups.

You could probably just turn down the volume on the guitar plugged into the high to balance it out and you would be good to go.

The Peavey Royal 8 5 watt tube amplifier has two inputs, the hight input is 10db louder than the low input.

If you use both at once, they both revert to low inputs.

Great little amp for pratice as it does have a master volume.

Thanks for the responses! That Peavey sounds perfect - and the price looks pretty good right now!
