Has anyone ever tried one? What were the results? They seem to be massive-sounding but small cabs.

I know that many people play jazz archtops through these cabs and want a very transparent, acoustic sound. I

I always play a tele, so I actually am looking for an amp that adds color and body to the sound. Is that a product of just the amp, or will this cab only do the transparent acoustic thing?

What sort of sounds are you hoping to produce? Certainly speakers can colour the sound, for example, most guitar speakers are mid-rangey. And some people like to push speakers until they start to break up and favor AlNiCos for that, etc...

I want a "holy crap, how did you get an entire Twin Reverb into that tiny little box" sound.

I don't think Raezer's Edge is what you're looking for. Like you said, they are used a lot with jazz archtops; they could also work with an acoustic amp, especially the extended range cabinets that have a tweeter.

I know jazztele has a Redstone, which are similar. I'm sure he'll drop a line in time...
