I recently converted my version 3 combo to an 18 watt Lite IIb. I have the stock Eminence 8" speaker...can it handle the 18 watts?

Most 8" speakers have a max of about 15-20 watts RMS, but from my experience with my 15 watt Pro Junior and it's ability to reek havoc on its stock 30 watt speaker, I'd look for a more powerful speaker. This, of course, should be done AFTER trying it with the stock speaker to see if you like it or not.
