Peavey 4-10 Classic 50 blowing fuses....

I've always been pretty comfortable working on Fenders and have a certain amount of tube knowledge, but this amp appears to be very difficult to service for the way it's put together. I pulled the power tubes & let it sit for an hour. The fuse held. Then I put the power tubes back in. After about 10 minutes, the fuse went. There's no underbias plate glowing in the EL-84's so what's to look at next?

Sounds like you've got a bad power tube. Replace 'em.

IF you pullled only the power tubes, then the problem is in that section....bad tube, blown resistor, bad gulp! OT. Usually it is something simpler than the OT, but there is that possibility.
IF you pulled them all, then pull them all again and put them in one at a time starting with the first preamp tube until you find the problem.
