gigged with a marshall class5 + sf princeton+ 1x 12" cab

hi friends,
my everlasting journey for tone washed me upon an incredibly lush shore: i hooked a 74 princeton to a 1x12" cab, loaded with an eminence tonker, added my brandnew marshall (5!!!!) watt class 5 amp and played a small clubgig. my mindgot blown and the audience was under shock. the fender provided a fat clean bottomend and the marshall added crunch, without cutting folks heads off. i had the feeling that the audience was digging the noise. i could not believe that marshall, it was not even on half volume. they did an incredible thing in england. eddie

I bought a Class 5 a couple of weeks ago, after comparing it to a handwired Champ and a Cornell Romany.

Played at a jam last thursday and yes, it's a great little beast. Mine was only on half volume as well

Love running low wattage amps in "stereo"! Here's my practice rig - a SFPR (with a 12" speaker) and a Winfield Cyclone into a Showman 15 cab, run mostly at the same time via a Radial ABY. Fender cleans mixed with Vox-ish crunch. YUM.

Love your setup! Are you running the 15" cab through the Princeton Reverb along with it's own internal speaker?
