American made Crate V5 or Champ 600 or Vibro champXD

I'm selling my Blackheart Little Giant--just too heavy for my old back to lug around the house as I get displaced from room to room . So, I was debating the Champ 600 or Vibro Champ XD. Then at the shop I'm selling the Blackheart on consignment at they have an American made Crate V5. I didn't have time to check it out and I'm wondering what others experience of these are and in general what is the story on them.

Hey don't forget about the Bugera 5-watt with Reverb and the Roland Street Cube.

For more money, how about the Valvetrain Lexington Reverb or the Allen Classic 10..... How about a silverface Fender Champ or VibroChamp?

American V5? Is that the one with the 8" speaker, and gain/tone/volume?

I've not actually seen/heard one of them - just the newer 10" ones, mine being made in Vietnam.

If weight is a major consideration, you may consider Vox AC4TV 10" (9 kg) or Vox AC4TV 8" (7 kg). The AC4TV 10" sounds surprisingly good and much better than the Champion 600, which I find a bit thin. It also has adjustable output.

There are also two new small Laney amps, CUB8 and CUB10, with 6V6 (AC4 has EL84).
