question for speaker experts
i've fallen in love with the black label 2112-A speakers that were in the early issues of the tech21 tm60, and tm120 amps.
they are exactly what i want for my twin reverb/bassman100 head. it seems to be some kind of state secret as to who manufactured them. can anyone tell me who made them, and where to get more? tech21 now use celestions, which i've never really cared for. thanks, good gigs, and telekinetic energy to all. mj ps, i did buy a pair on ebay, but it took a year, and i still need two more to load my 4x12 |

Mary Jane, look on the sides of those magnets. Is there a small grey label with some codes on it? IF so, they are probably Eminence speakers. IF not, then it remains a big question as you have found, right? Chinese? I bought a very inexpensive 150-watt Chinese speaker....less than $20 wholesale. Killer speaker so far. My guess is that it was built in the factory that builds the Celestions now. I wouldn't put it past TEch 21 to use something like that. There are no codes of any kind on it.
